We executed a cross-platform social media marketing campaign that propelled fitness buffs to David Barton Gym.


CHALLENGE
Renowned for its sleek and stylish gyms filled with vibrant colors, mood lighting and the most modern equipment and amenities, David Barton Gym stands on the cutting edge of the fitness industry.
With a nationwide expansion underway, the uber-hip company turned to MKC to build—virtually from scratch—a comprehensive digital marketing and social media campaign across various channels to ramp up its online presence, drive offline foot traffic and, ultimately, generate additional membership sales.

STRATEGY
As one of the first agencies to recognize how the Internet has changed the way companies communicate with its customers, MKC was ideally suited for this task. The first step was creating the infrastructure across all key social and digital channels, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
By creating regular streams of original content that not only optimized SEO but also captured David Barton’s quirky, iconic personality, MKC cultivated an engaged and passionate blogger fan base.
In addition, MKC extended David Barton Gym’s offline marketing programs and campaigns into the social/digital space, providing a powerful “lift” for the company’s promotional efforts.

RESULTS

The implementation of David Barton Gym’s social media strategy generated huge gains in traffic on the site. Followers and fans quadrupled on Facebook and Twitter, and social media mentions and references to David Barton surged 600%.
As a result of this success, David Barton Gym reallocated its marketing budget to fund additional social and digital initiatives, which were designed and developed by MKC.
